Process & Timeline
SEDCO and the Scarborough Community Chamber (SCC) have been working on a long-term economic development Vision & Plan for Scarborough for the past two and a half years.
Business and key stakeholder input was sought back in March 2009 and a DRAFT document was distributed to key stakeholders and the public this fall for comment.
Public Comment Sessions were held at Town Hall on Monday, November 16, 2009 from 8:00am-10:00am and on Tuesday, November 17, 2009 from 6:30pm-8:30pm.
The SEDCO and SCC Boards both voted to support the DRAFT Vision Goals and the process in a joint letter of support which can be viewed here.
The business focus groups and 1-on-1 meeting comments from Spring 2009 may be viewed here.
